The show was great, maybe her best solo show that I've seen. I think I liked it as much as I did because, from the performance, I could really imagine how the songs sounded on her new album, ecdysis. I haven't heard it, so during the show I sort recorded a version of it in my head. This imagined version, at least, is tops. So far the album's only available in Japan. Costs around $40 here.



Before the show my friend Sarahana and I found a great little cafe round the corner from Tonic. Of course I have no idea what the name is, but if you see a place selling fresh cupcakes and loose teas, about a block away from the club, that's it. Go in.
